The game focuses on action and RPG elements in a large open world where animals are made from mecha. The unique premise of Horizon Zero Dawn is coupled with an intriguing story of self-discovery. As a result many consider the title to be one of the best PlayStation exclusives of this generation and because of this reception many have been keen to explore the expansive world and moving story.

The system requirements are listed on Steam and the minimum and recommended requirements to run the title are the same. The requirements are:

This should be an easy download for most PC gamers. Although the file size for the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn is significantly bigger than what was required for the PlayStation 4. Other than that one alteration players should have no trouble accessing the game and enjoying one of the best games of this generation. The release is particularly well-timed with a new interest in the franchise being created by the upcoming sequel.

It will be interesting to see what new features are in the PC port for Horizon Zero Dawn and whether PC players will get an indication of what is to come in the sequel. If players do get additional content then many will be keen to pick up this version of the game. With that said, there is likely already a market for the title after its success on the PlayStation and absence from other formats. It will be interesting to see how well the PC port performs commercially given its potential market.

Many players will look forward to playing Horizon Zero Dawn and the PC port will likely build on the games already impressive audience. Fortunately for new players, they should be able to acquire and play the game without changing up their hardware.
