On the film side of things, Hollywood has always been interested in developing video games into movies. These attempts have resulted in some mixed results to say the least, with interesting and unique stories like Assassin’s Creed not being translated well enough onto the big screen. Things have arguably turned a corner in the video game film market, at least in the past few years. Movies like Mortal Kombat, Tomb Raider, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Uncharted have all received, at the very least, better reviews than some previous adaptations....

When it comes to finding habitable planets, it’s tempting to think that oxygen would be the key environmental signature that scientists would look for. It’s necessary for most life on Earth. The problem is that oxygen would be hard to detect on other planets using the James Webb Space Telescope, the recently launched telescope that’s expected to aid scientists in their search for extra-terrestrial life. Webb wasn’t originally designed to scan distant planets for oxygen, and its instruments are therefore not set up in a way that will readily detect it....

Announced back in 2020, during Sony’s August State of Play, Hood: Outlaws and Legends was likely put on players’ radars through its distinctive multiplayer battle system.
